Blundstone Recrafting Options

Give your Blundstone boots a new life with one of our three recrafting options. Each service includes a premium Vibram outsole for dependable traction and durability.

1. Glued-On Decorative Leather Welt

A decorative leather welt is glued directly to the boot’s upper, preserving a clean, traditional appearance. A rubber midsole is then installed and secured using Blake stitching. The recraft is completed with a durable Vibram rubber outsole.

This option provides a classic welted look with a lighter and more flexible construction.

2. Split-Welt Goodyear Construction

Our split-welt Goodyear construction is the most robust of the three options. The split leather welt is stitched to the upper, while an additional inner stitch secures the construction from inside the boot. This dual attachment creates an exceptionally strong connection between the upper and the sole assembly.

A leather midsole is then applied and stitched to the welt along the outside edge. Finally, a premium Vibram outsole is installed for excellent traction, durability, and long-term wear.

This is our most substantial recrafting option, producing an exceptionally well-made boot designed for strength, stability, and many more years of service.
