I’m Bujar, founder of KW Shoe Repair & Recrafting Studio, where traditional shoemaking meets modern footwear.

My journey began in Eastern Europe at the age of 12, when I started making sandals and shoes by hand. Through curiosity, patience, and a deep respect for quality, I developed a lifelong passion for shoemaking and for giving well-loved footwear a second life.

Today, I work with a wide range of footwear, from classic boots and dress shoes to modern sneakers. I believe a great pair of shoes deserves more than a short life. It deserves to be carefully restored, thoughtfully rebuilt, and made to last.

That belief is at the heart of my recrafting work. Instead of replacing footwear you already love, I preserve its original character while rebuilding it with traditional techniques and quality materials. Depending on the design and condition, I may use leather midsoles, welting, stitching, and quality outsoles to strengthen the footwear while maintaining the style, comfort, and personality that made it special.

Every project is handled individually, by hand, one pair at a time. For me, recrafting is more than a repair it’s a way to respect the footwear you own and the memories connected to it.
